Lambchop and the Pool

Every dog has their thing, and for Frost, it was Lambchop.

She absolutely loved her Lambchops.

Over the years, she had so many of them. There were different sizes, and some even had squeakies inside. It didn’t matter what size Lambchop was or whether she squeaked—Frost loved them all.

There was always a Lambchop around.

And, of course, Frost couldn’t keep her love of Lambchop to herself. She taught Frank to love them too. It was just another thing the two of them could share.

Frost had her serious side, too.

She did not like to swim.

Our pool was perfectly fine as long as nobody was trying to get her into it. If someone was in the pool, Frost kept her distance. She wasn’t taking any chances.

After all, you never knew when someone might sneak up behind you and throw you in!

She had seen it happen to her hoomans before, and Frost was not about to let that happen to her.

No way.

She was far too smart for that.

If her family wanted to swim, that was their business. Frost would stay safely on dry land, where she could keep an eye on everyone from a respectable distance. She knew exactly what she was doing.

And if anybody came toward her looking just a little too suspicious?

Frost was gone.

She wasn’t taking the bait.

That was Frost—smart enough to learn almost anything, observant enough to keep track of what was happening around her, and clever enough to remember that a swimming pool could be dangerous when your hoomans had a mischievous streak.
