Frost loved being with us, so naturally, she wanted to go for car rides.
There was only one little problem.
Frost got carsick.
And it was not enjoyable at all—for Frost or for the rest of us!
We wanted to take her places with us. We wanted her to experience little adventures and enjoy going along for the ride. But her tummy had other ideas, and eventually we had to accept that car rides just weren’t meant to be one of Frost’s favorite activities.
Still, that never changed how excited she was when we came home.
Frost always knew when her hoomans were back.
The moment she realized we were home, she would run up to us, happy as could be. It didn’t matter how long we’d been gone. To Frost, we had returned, and that was all that mattered.
There was no holding a grudge because we had left her behind.
No disappointment.
Just pure happiness.
She greeted us as though we had been gone forever, making sure we knew just how happy she was to see us.
That was one of the wonderful things about Frost. She didn’t need big adventures or fancy outings to be happy. What she really wanted was to be with her family.
And when her family came home, she made sure we knew how much we had been missed.
